Diario Flipped Classroom: Última sesión

En la última sesión del curso se nos pide que reflexionemos sobre los siguientes aspectos.

¿Qué he aprendido en este curso?

El curso ha supuesto para mí una primera toma de contacto con el enfoque Flipped Classroom. Había escuchado hablar en varias ocasiones sobre él pero no conocía realmente su estructura y justificación. De este modo, ha supuesto un primer contacto a modo de guía para seguir avanzando en él.

¿Cómo lo he aprendido?

Las actividades que se han planteado a lo largo del curso ayudan a conseguir los objetivos principales. Si bien es cierto que, en algunas ocasiones, algunas tareas llevan más tiempo del que luego se certifica. Supongo que esto va unido al nivel de conocimientos y experiencia que cada uno tiene en referente al tema del curso. En general, estoy satisfecho.

¿Cómo lo voy a aplicar en el aula?

Antes de enfrascarme de lleno en un proyecto Flipped Classroom creo que voy a comenzar con determinadas actividades puntuales, de forma que pueda ir ganando en experiencia. Le veo muchas ventajas a nivel de elementos culturales de la lengua inglesa, creo que mis primeros pasos serán en esta línea.

¿Para qué otra cosa me puede servir o qué otro uso le puedo dar?

A nivel personal, el curso me ha supuesto un contacto directo en referente a la elaboración de rúbricas de manera personal y también me ha supuesto una reflexión sobre el tipo de actividades a realizar en casa (y su relación estrecha con los deberes que llevan los niños) y sobre todo la temporalización.

Diario Flipped Classroom IV

Esta semana en el curso hemos estado trabajando de forma más profunda en lo que sería un artefacto de flipped classroom propiamente dicho. En el siguiente link de padlet aparece el mío:

Incluso presentamos una rúbrica y pude observar de primera mano que delimitar los indicadores de logro no es tan sencillo como parece. La mía era así:

Además, hubo que presentar un proyecto basado en el enfoque Flipped Classroom de forma pormenorizada. Yo presenté uno basado en la historia "We're going on a bear hunt", historia que siempre utilizo en mis clases.

También pasamos por una fase de coevaluación en la que hubo que valorar el trabajo de otros compañeros. Este proceso es una de las partes más útiles. Leer y analizar las ideas de otros profesionales es siempre útil. No solo por aquellos aspectos que te pueden parecer más interesantes, también porque, de aquellos que resultan menos atrayentes o inconexos, siempre surge una actividad alternativa que piensas inmediatamente con el "yo lo hubiera hecho así...".

Tras el proceso de corrección de los tres trabajos, pude comprobar que lo más complicado es la secuenciación de actividades en casa y en el aula. Los tres tenían enfoques muy tradicionales en cuanto a este aspecto. Supongo que es lo más complicado de llevar a cabo.

Finalmente, yo destacaría que sí me siento capaz de llevar a cabo un proyecto flipped en clase. Creo que requiere de tiempo y organización, pero le veo muchas ventajas.
