Diario Flipped Classroom III

Big Ben

Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London.

The name Big Ben is often extended to refer to the clock and the clock tower. However, the tower is officially known as the Elizabeth Tower. It is 96,3 meters tall!

In the following video you can listen to its bells:

Finally, here's a picture for you in order to colour your own version of the wonderful Big Ben.

See you in class,

Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square is a public space and tourist attraction in central London. The square consists of a large central area with roadways on three sides and a terrace to the north, in front of the National Gallery.

At its centre is Nelson's Column, which is guarded by four lion statues at its base.

The square is used for political demonstrations and community gatherings, such as the celebration of New Year's Eve.

Now that you have enough information, you may feel like colouring your own version of Trafalgar Square. Feel free to dowload and print the following image.

Flipped classroom: Diario
