St. Patrick's day!
Morning to everyone!
Today is St. Patrick's day, a very special one for the Irish culture! In the following video you can find out who St. Patrick was.
In the next video you can see many interesting facts related to this special day and how it is celebrated all over the world!
Apart from that, there is another important figure that is worth mentioning. I am talking about leprechauns!
In Irish folklore, leprechauns are a type of fairy depicted as little bearded men, wearing a coat and hat, who partake in mischief. They are solitary creatures who make and mend shoes and have a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! If they are captured by a human, they grant three wishes in exchange for their freedom. Here you can watch and listen to a catchy song about them!
Besides, if you feel like it, you can follow the instructions given in the next video so you can create your own Leprechaun!
Finally, click on the following pot of gold if you feel like playing online games about St. Patrick's day!
I hope you enjoy St. Patrick's day!
